What payment methods are available?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Shopify Payments and PayPal.

Direct Bank Transfers (BACS, CHAPS and FPS) secure electronic payments from your bank to ours.

Payment is made in GB Pounds Sterling. If you reside outside of the UK, payment will be converted at the current conversion rate automatically.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address to my billing address?

Prince & Princess Petwear offers a free gift sending service, so you can choose the perfect gift for your friends and family, and we'll deliver it to them without an invoice. Just tick the gift checkbox on your Shopping Bag page. You can add a gift message too and we'll include it with the order.

Will this fit my pet?

Although we recommended pets are measured first, we know that this isn't always possible when buying pet collars and clothes as gifts or for new puppies.

The size chart below is a guide only, as all pets are unique and therefore may not fit into their breed's 'standard' size. Within breeds, there will be some size variation between the genders with females being smaller (sometimes one or two sizes smaller than males of the same breed.)

How long do orders take to arrive?

We usually process orders within 24 hours (please allow extra time during busy periods such as Christmas or when ordering customised items.) Once dispatched, delivery approximately takes: 

UK - 1-3 working days if sent via Royal Mail First Class or courier. 

Europe - Airmail 3-7 working days, or up to 72 hours if sent via courier. 

Rest of World - Airmail 5-7 working days, or up to 72 hours via courier.

What happens if I am not in when the parcel arrives?

Most of our items, such as collars and clothes, fit easily through standard letterboxes, so you will not have to be in unless you have selected a delivery service that requires a signature. For larger orders, or orders of a high value, you will need to be available for delivery. Our carriers will leave a calling card if you are not in and you will be able to collect your order from the local depot or arrange a further delivery if possible.

If your order is returned to us by the carrier as refused, undelivered, or unclaimed, we will contact you. We will need to recharge the delivery costs if you want the order to be sent again.


Why have I only received part of my order?

It is not unusual for Prince & Princess Petwear to send orders in more than one consignment, especially when personalised or advance orders have been placed, or when items were temporarily unavailable at the time an order was placed. In the unlikely event that a product becomes permanently unavailable, Prince & Princess Petwear will offer a full refund or send alternatives that are of an equal or higher value, as will be agreed.

I have received the wrong item, or a faulty or damaged item, what do I do?

Occasionally, our human packers make a mistake and send the wrong item, a faulty item or an item may get damaged in transit.

Your return postage costs will be reimbursed up to the value of standard tracked mail and a replacement will be sent to you. 


What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day, no questions asked, return or exchange policy on most of our products. (Bespoke items such as personalised clothing, or collars that have been adjusted using our Custom Fitting Service, are non returnable unless they are defective.) Products returned to us must be securely packaged, and in an unused condition with any tags attached. We recommend that you use a tracked or signed for delivery service and retain proof of postage.


How long will it take to get a refund?

We usually send refunds within one day of processing a return, although please allow up to 7 days during busy periods.

Once it reaches your bank, it could take a few extra days for your bank to process the payment and appear in your account.

Can I exchange an item for a different size / colour / style?

You can exchange any item for a different size/colour/style within the 30-day returns/exchange period. (Bespoke items such as personalised clothing, or collars that have been adjusted using our Custom Fitting Service, are non returnable unless they are defective.) 

Simply return the item to us securely packaged, and in an unused, resaleable condition with any tags attached, and include your instructions.

Will you send me marketing communications if I make a purchase?

During the checkout you will have the opportunity to opt in to receive offers and promotions. You won't receive these occasional marketing communications unless you un-tick the box. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By placing an order through our website, mail order catalogue or by any other means, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.



1.1 is operated by Palace Boutiques, also trading as Prince and Princess Petwear, Prince & Princess Petwear, Prince & Princess Wholesale, and Prince & Princess Equestrian, and shall also be referred to as 'we', 'our' and 'us'.

2.1 We reserve the right to revise the descriptions and specifications of any product or service without prior notice. 

2.2 All products displayed on this website are available only whilst stocks last.

2.3 All measurements supplied are approximate and should be used as a guide only.

2.4 Although every reasonable effort is made to display products accurately, we are unable to guarantee that the colours in the product images on the website, and in our mail order catalogue, are entirely accurate.

2.5 Products from the Prediletto Handmade Pet Couture and Pet Pizazz ranges may vary slightly due to their handmade nature, and you must accept that the images of these products merely reflect the design and quality of the product to be supplied.



3.1 The prices quoted for our products and services are in GB Pounds Sterling and are exclusive of postage and packing charges, which will be charged at the rates stated in paragraph (5.5) of these terms and conditions.

3.2 Palace Boutiques is currently not VAT registered so goods will not be subject to tax.

3.3 The prices quoted are exclusive of any local sales tax or import duty arising at the delivery destination, and we will not accept liability for such charges.

3.4 In the event of a typographical error in the pricing information, Prince & Princess Petwear will not be bound to honour any prices that we subsequently inform you to be displayed in error.

3.5 All prices and offers are subject to change and availability, although changes will not affect orders which have already been dispatched.



4.1 We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards through PayPal, by personal or business cheque, postal order, or banker’s draft made payable to “Palace Boutiques”, or by direct bank transfer, including Bacs, CHAPS, and FPS payments.

4.2 Goods will only be dispatched on receipt of full payment, unless special credit terms have been agreed, in which case the full balance will be paid within 10 days of receipt of the invoice.

4.3 If you fail to make payment on the due date, then, without prejudice to any other remedy available to Prince & Princess Petwear, we shall be entitled to:

Cancel the contract and suspend further services

Exercise our statutory right to charge interest on any overdue invoices and claim reasonable compensation for debt recovery costs under late payment legislation. In the UK, interest will be charged at the late payment reference rate plus 8%. In the EU, interest will be charged at the ECB base rate plus 7%. In the US and all other countries, interest will be charges at the rate of the Bank of England base rate plus 8%.

4.4 Payment is made in GB Pounds Sterling. If you are located outside of the UK and choose to pay by PayPal or bank transfer, payment will be converted at the current conversion rate automatically. If sending a cheque in a currency other than GB Pounds Sterling, then you should add 10 per cent of the order value to the total sum to cover our costs.

4.5 We will not accept liability for any bank charges and import duty and taxes you incur, and you should not deduct these from any amount owed to Prince & Princess Petwear.



5.1 Prince & Princess Petwear will make all reasonable efforts to dispatch goods within five (5) working days of receipt of payment. Orders containing personalised or made to order products may take longer to be fulfilled, and such extended delivery times will be advised on the product page, or we will otherwise notify you accordingly.

5.2 In the event of a delay, such as stock unavailability, which may result in goods being dispatched outside a reasonable period, we will notify you accordingly, and offer you the right to cancel the order.

5.3 All delivery times are estimates only, and we will not accept liability for failure to deliver any products within that time. A reasonable amount of time should be allowed for any unforeseen circumstances outside the control of Prince & Princess Petwear, such as during a period of exceptional demand, bad weather, postal strikes or customs delays.

5.4 Free standard delivery applies to all orders over 25.00 GBP irrespective of destination. All orders under 25.00 GBP are subject to a set postage and packaging charge irrespective of weight or order value.

5.5 Current standard postage and packaging charges are as follows:

United Kingdom (including Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man) 2.50 GBP

Europe (including Russia) 2.80 GBP

All other countries 3.00 GBP

Express and timed delivery options are available for UK Mainland only.

5.7 A signature may be required on receipt of delivery.

5.8 If an order is returned, refused or unclaimed by you, due to your absence at the time of the attempted delivery (deliveries), a failure to collect the goods within the time stipulated on the carriers attempted delivery card, or incorrect delivery information being provided by you, an additional postage payment will be required to re-dispatch the item. You will be liable for any charges incurred by Prince & Princess Petwear for the return of goods back to the warehouse.

5.9 We will not accept liability for any accidental damage that occurs during the course of delivery, above the replacement, or refund of the goods.

 5.10 In the event of consignments being lost by Royal Mail, customers will need to allow fifteen (15) working days to elapse before we will dispatch replacements, as Royal Mail do not allow claims to be filed until after such a time.



6.1 You can have the right to cancel an order and return any product(s) you have purchased within fifteen (15) working days of delivery.

6.2 We will issue refunds using the same payment method you used to pay for your purchase, within 30 days of your notice of cancellation. Refunds will be issued in full, including our delivery charges, providing the goods that have been returned to Prince & Princess Petwear, are in an unused condition, and in their original packaging with any tags still attached. Refunds will not be given for goods until they have been received.

6.3 You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning any goods to us. You must make a reasonable effort to package securely any goods that you return.

6.4 Any goods returned to us that are not in the condition that they were originally provided will be subject to a deduction of the original cost. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on returned goods that are considered to be not in a saleable condition.

6.5. We are not able to refund or replace personalised products or products that have been altered specifically for you, unless they are found to be defective. In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), there can be no refunds or exchanges on riding hats, and body jewellery such as earrings, unless they are found to be defective. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6.6 Goods returned to us due to being defective or damaged in transit will be replaced free of charge or refunded in full, including reimbursement of the return delivery costs you incur in sending the goods back to us for inspection. We will only reimburse the cost of sending the goods back via standard or Royal Mail Recorded service.

6.7 In the event that incorrect goods are delivered to you, we will reimburse the return delivery costs that you incur in sending the goods back to us. We will only reimburse the cost of sending the goods back via standard or Royal Mail Recorded service.

6.8 We will not be held liable for any damage or loss caused by third party attempted repairs, or due to use contrary to any warnings or instructions, or for a purpose other than that which the product was intended.

6.9 In the event that a product returned to us to be exchanged has subsequently become out of stock, we will offer you a similar product of equivalent or higher value or a full refund.



7.1 Title of goods, and therefore risk of loss or damage, passes to you on the date of delivery or, or on the date of the first attempted delivery.

7.2 Ownership of the goods will only pass to you when we are in receipt of full payment of all sums due in respect of the goods, including any delivery charges.


8.1 We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order for any reason including, without limitation, if we have insufficient stock which prevents us fulfilling your order.

8.2 Completion of the contract occurs when the goods are dispatched to you, not on receipt of the order confirmation email, which is merely an acknowledgement of your offer to us.



9.1 We warrant that any goods purchased from us is of satisfactory quality and fit for the purpose intended.



10.1 These terms and conditions do not include or limit in any way, our liability arising from death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, our responsibility under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or any other matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude our liability.

10.2 We will not accept liability for economic losses, including, without limitation, loss of income or revenue, profits, contracts, business, data, wasted expenditure, anticipated savings, goodwill and reputation, arising from use of or in relation to this website. 

10.3 Whilst we will make every reasonable effort to ensure that all information provided on this website is accurate, correct, and reputable, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of information relating to animal health and well-being, and therefore recommend seeking professional advice from a qualified veterinarian if you have a specific query relating to your pet.

10.4 Our liability for loss or damage arising in connection with any goods purchased shall be strictly limited to the a sum equal to the value of the product(s) purchased.



11.1 You acknowledge and agree that all content contained within this website (including trade marks, graphics and logos, text, images, and data), is the property of Palace Boutiques or its licensors, and therefore the ownership in all intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, belongs to Palace Boutiques or is licensed to us.

11.2 The material and content may not be used, copied, reproduced, transferred, downloaded, printed, distributed or commercially exploited, in whole or in part, in any manner other than for personal use, except in the case of registered trade customers (please refer to paragraph (9.3)).

11.3 Registered trade account holders are permitted to use any logos and graphics product images, product descriptions and brand descriptions, belonging to Prince & Princess Petwear or it’s licensors, in order to promote Prince & Princess Petwear products.



12.1 We process all personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998)



13.1 These terms are, in all respects, governed by English law, and you agree that the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising under this agreement, except where the statutory rights of customers within the European Union are otherwise protected within their respective law of the state or country of delivery.



14.1 We reserve the right to change any of these terms and conditions at any time, and therefore you must refer to the terms and conditions before proceeding with each subsequent order. Any revisions will be indicated by the issue date at the top of this page.

14.2 If any section or paragraph of these terms and conditions is deemed by any competent authority to be unenforceable, in whole or in part, the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms and conditions shall remain unaffected.
